1. No Heroes may use dark arts like necromancy or fortune telling, possession, tarot cards, palm reading, etc.
2. No character may be overly or all powerful. If you are unsure about the limits ask a staff member or the Game Master of the Role Play you are wondering about. 3. As much as possible, please keep posts in character. If there is an out of character issue, contact the game master or a staff member. 4. Due to the current number of staff members we will only allow 3 role plays at one time. if you would like to start a role play, e-mail us and we will add it to the list. When one ends the next role waiting can be started. When your role play can begin the staff will contact you. 5. Please no Anime or Anime based fandoms. If for any reason the staff deems a Fan RPG inappropriate you will be notified. If the proper steps are not taken as per the staff's request, the RPG will be removed. It should be noted we have noting against Anime...there is just allot of it out there and most sights feature these types of RPG's as the bulk of their offering. |
6. Any Role Play that has fallen dormant for a short amount of time (Less than 4 months) will not be shut down unless requested by the game master.
7. Any Role Play that is dormant for four months or longer will be archived and a new Role Play will take its place 8. Please keep all Role Plays, art work, written work, and chats at PG-13 or lower. There is not a language filter in place, so please take it upon yourself to respect this rule. Perverse conduct, or conduct outside of the code will earn a permanent ban. 9. : If you feel you have any personal issues with a Role Play or another member you must try to work out your issue with the Role Play's Game Master or said member. If the issue cannot be resolved please bring it to the attention of the staff. Fighting in the form of cruel remarks, jokes, or insulting signatures will not be tolerated, nor will arguments or lists of grievances within any of the role plays. If you have an issue with an overall area of the forum please bring it to the attention of the staff immediately via e-mail. |
10. If you feel another members behavior or Role Play is in violation of the code please bring it to the attention of the staff immediately. Directly telling someone they are in violation is the staff's job, not the members.
11. All "magic" will be held in the Tolkien/Lewis boundaries. Reference the first guideline for what is not allowed. If any such "magic" is questionable, the staff will look into the matter and decide accordingly if it will be allowed. Dark arts will not be supported in any way. 12. If you decide to begin a Role Play then you take on the responsibility of a Game Master. Members rely on the Game Master to set forth Role Play specific guidelines, update ability levels (Depending on the type of Role Play), and keep the plot moving. If you begin a Role Play and then feel like you cannot maintain it you may ask another member to step in as Game Master or ask the staff to archive the Role Play. If you choose to ask another member to be the Game Master and they accept you must inform the staff before posting the change in the role play. |
13. All in character Role Play Posts must be at least three sentences long.
14. All Game Masters must post at least once a week in their Role Plays. This keeps the plot moving and players interested 15. We recognize that romance is a gift and will allow romantic relationships in the role plays. However, illicit scenes or inappropriate innuendo or displays of affection will not be allowed. Inappropriate romantic conduct includes scenes involving sex (pre-marital or marital), groping, homosexual relations and detailed conversation involving any of the aforementioned. Please keep in mind that we are responsible for younger members and it is their parents prerogative, not ours, to breach these subjects with them. |
